# Halal Beats: Royalty-Free Vocal & Daff Beats for Videos | Aswati Updated 10 Oct 2026 Voice & daff · royalty-free # Halal beats for videos. Rhythm without instruments: vocal and daff beats for gym edits, sports highlights, motivational reels and product videos, licensed for monetised content. **Halal beats** are rhythm-led tracks made without musical instruments: the beat comes from the **daff**, body percussion or layered voices instead of drums, bass and synths. Aswati makes halal beats for creators that are **royalty-free and cleared for monetised YouTube, reels and client work**. Two of them, Steady Motivation and Victory March, are in the free pack. ## Free halal beats to start with - [Steady Motivation](https://aswati.co/track/steady-motivation) (1:29): rhythmic, driving and percussive. Most scholars across the four schools hold musical instruments to be prohibited, and many make an exception for the **daff**, the frame drum played at weddings and on Eid in the time of the Prophet ﷺ. That is why halal beats lean on the daff and on the voice. A few points to know: - **Daff:** widely accepted on joyful occasions; some scholars allow it more generally. See [which instruments are halal](https://aswati.co/halal-instruments). - **Vocal percussion and layered voices:** treated as use of the voice by most. - **Beatboxing that imitates a drum kit:** scholars differ, and the cautious view avoids it. See [is acapella halal, and is beatboxing haram?](https://aswati.co/is-acapella-halal) Aswati keeps to voice and percussion only, so our beats stay where the widest range of scholars agree. ## Halal music for gym edits, reels and highlights A strong rhythm does most of the work in short-form video: it sets the pace of your cuts and carries energy without words. Halal beats suit: - **Gym and fitness edits:** cut on the daff hits for a punchy, music-free workout reel. - **Sports highlights and trailers:** anthemic tracks like Victory March build to a peak. - **Product videos and ads:** a steady pulse keeps a demo moving. See [halal music for ads](https://studio.aswati.co/blog/halal-music-for-ads). - **Intros and outros:** a four-bar daff pattern makes a clean sting. Halal Beats is also the name of a popular nasheed channel. Its tracks belong to their creators, so to use them in your own videos you need their permission or licence terms, even if they are free to listen to. Unlicensed use can still be claimed on YouTube and Instagram. If you need halal beats you can publish today, the tracks on this page are licensed for exactly that. From Aswati ### Every beat, every stem The Production Pass unlocks the full Aswati library with isolated lead, backing and percussion stems, so you can drop the vocals and keep just the daff, or the other way round. "Halal" describes how a beat is made, not who owns it. Aswati's halal beats are royalty-free and cleared for monetised YouTube videos, reels, podcasts and client work, with no attribution required. ### Where can I download free halal beats? Aswati's free pack includes eight voice-only tracks, among them the percussive Steady Motivation and Victory March. You get them instantly by email at aswati.co/vocals, with no card. ### What makes a beat halal? A halal beat avoids musical instruments: the rhythm comes from the daff, body percussion or layered voices instead of drums, bass and synths. Many scholars allow the daff, especially on joyful occasions, while views differ on beatboxing that imitates a drum kit. ### Can I use halal beats in monetised videos? Yes, as long as the licence covers monetised use. Every Aswati track does, and each download comes with a licence certificate. ### What is the difference between a halal beat and a nasheed? A nasheed is led by the voice and its words; a halal beat is led by rhythm. Many tracks sit in between, such as a vocal nasheed carried by a strong daff pattern.
