Why it matters

### Halal audio that sounds pro

As a Muslim creator, you've spent hours hunting for background audio that won't earn copyright strikes and honors your values. Most "Islamic" audio sounds amateur. Most professional audio includes instruments.

Questions

## Free background nasheed FAQ

### Are these background nasheeds copyright-free?

Yes. Every track in the free pack is royalty-free and cleared for use, so you won't get copyright strikes on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any platform. Aswati produces the vocals in-house, which means there are no third-party claims attached to them.

### Can I use them in monetized and commercial videos?

Yes. You can use Aswati background vocals in monetized YouTube videos, paid ads, client work, podcasts, and apps. Your rights are set out in our [Content License](https://aswati.co/license) — edit, trim, and layer them into an unlimited number of your own projects.

### What does "instrument-free" or "vocals only" mean?

Instrument-free means the audio is made entirely from the human voice — no guitars, pianos, or synths. This is the halal, music-free background audio many Muslim creators look for: studio-quality nasheed (anasheed) and ambient vocal beds that sound professional without using musical instruments. New to this? Read our [background nasheed guide](https://aswati.co/background-nasheed).

### Can I use these as vocals-only background music?

Yes — that's exactly what they're for. These are vocals-only background music: instrument-free tracks you can drop under a video, reel, or podcast as an ambient bed, or feature up front. They download as high-quality audio files, ready to edit in CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or Final Cut.

### Do I have to credit Aswati?

No. Attribution is appreciated but not required. You're free to use the downloaded vocals in your projects without crediting Aswati.

### What's the difference between the free pack and Aswati Studio?

The free pack gives you 8 background vocals to start with. [Aswati Studio](https://studio.aswati.co) is the full library — 90+ royalty-free, instrument-free background vocals and anasheed (voice and percussion only) with new drops every month, from $9/month. Built for specific work: [royalty-free vocals](https://aswati.co/royalty-free-vocals) for videos and ads, [wedding video music](https://aswati.co/wedding-video-music) for filmmakers, and [podcast background music](https://aswati.co/podcast-background-music).
