The fix: audio you're licensed to monetise
Aswati Studio is a library of voice-only nasheeds and vocal beds, royalty-free and cleared for monetised YouTube videos, reels and client work. Every download comes with a licence certificate you can use to dispute a mistaken claim.
This YouTube copyright checker estimates how likely your video is to get a Content ID claim or a copyright strike, based on where your audio came from and how it is licensed. No outside tool can scan YouTube's Content ID database, so the honest way to check is before you upload: if you can't show a licence that covers monetised use, assume the audio will be claimed.
How YouTube detects copyrighted music
Rights holders upload reference files to Content ID. Every new video is scanned against them, including altered, slowed, pitched and very short versions. When there is a match, the rights holder's policy applies automatically: they can block the video in some or all countries, monetise it (the ad revenue goes to them, not you), or simply track its views.
A copyright strike is different. It comes from a formal takedown request, removes the video, and limits your channel. Three active strikes within 90 days can lead to termination. Strikes expire after 90 days if you complete YouTube's Copyright School.
What to do if your video is already claimed
- If you have a licence, dispute the claim in YouTube Studio and include your licence or certificate.
- If you don't, use the editor in YouTube Studio to erase or replace the song, or trim the section. The claim is released once the match is gone.
- Never dispute a claim you can't back up. A rejected dispute can escalate into a takedown request and a strike.

Frequently asked questions
Can this tool scan my video for copyrighted music?
No tool outside YouTube can see the Content ID database. This checker asks where your audio came from and how it is licensed, which is what decides whether a claim is likely, and tells you how to fix the risk before you upload.
What is the difference between a Content ID claim and a copyright strike?
A Content ID claim is automatic: the rights holder can block the video, track it, or take its ad revenue, but your channel is not penalised. A copyright strike follows a legal takedown request. Three strikes within 90 days can get a channel terminated.
Is it safe to use 10 or 30 seconds of a song?
No. There is no number of seconds that is automatically allowed, and Content ID regularly matches short clips.
Does giving credit in the description avoid copyright?
No. Credit is polite, but it is not permission. You need a licence or the owner's consent.
Is the YouTube Audio Library safe?
Yes, for YouTube. Tracks in the YouTube Audio Library are cleared for use on YouTube, including monetised videos. Some require attribution, so check each track's licence.
